America’s Favorite Flies presents a preeminent fly-fishing treasure:
The Original Bunyan Bug
The Bunyan Bug, originated by fly-tying pioneer Norman “Paul Bunyan” Means and later made internationally famous by its compelling role in Norman Maclean’s iconic book turned feature film “A River Runs through It”, is one of fly fishing’s iconic flies. Now Norman Means’ grandson, acclaimed tyer Richard Rose, has created a limited edition of 100 Bunyan Bugs specifically for America’s Favorite Flies. He has spent hours constructing each Bug while employing his grandfather’s original materials and techniques. Each Original Bunyan Bug is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Richard Rose, and is meticulously mounted and framed to be admired and treasured for generations to come.
